The company was founded in 2000 by its Managing Director, Karen Roberts.

Karen has worked in research for 20 years. She has worked for two of the UK’s largest agencies – MORI (now Ipsos MORI) and Research International UK. At Research International, where she worked for six years, she became Director of the Financial Research team in their Business Solutions division. While there, she spent nearly a year working on secondment with American Express Europe as their research manager responsible for projects among enterprises who accept the AmEx card. Karen has also worked for IFF and Conquest Research.

Karen is a Full Member of the MRS and also has membership of the AQR and CIM. She was a founding member of the MRS Ethnic Researchers Network.

She is a well known speaker at research conferences and runs a national training course annually on ethnic research.
